Happy weekend to everyone. These are some photos taken on our last trip up to Scott's Uncle Bobby's cabin. The building the kids are standing in front of was an old schoolhouse. And do you think the boys had fun getting to ride in the truck??

The boys are now on summerbreak. They are so excited. And with my change in work schedule for the summer we have 4 day weekends, hopefully will get a few trips in. We leave for camping with Scotts family on thursday, so this weekend is dedicated to stocking up the trailer with snacks. And thanks to Kelly, mum and Dad I have a ton of books to choose from to read while we are gone.

Well thats it from me for now......ton of chores I must start. Hope alls well with everyone

Where did my question for the bog poll go??

OK, the question is.....Are my lettuces ready for picking?

Do you like my template design?I like the mellow color and the birds remind me of Ryan....boy how those birds made him bark everyday!! I swear they used to sweep down to annoy him purposefully. Can't believe he's been gone a year. May 31st was the anniversary of his passing. And as for Bailey, I remember the morning after a bad thunderstorm, a bird had been hit and was laying in our yard. Sweet mama Bailey went out to investigate, and the rest of the flock kept swooping in to peck her. I had to go running out there and shoo them off....they were drawing blood! So that shows how much I loved that wee girl, as many of you know I have a significant phobia of flapping wings.

Right back to present day....I thought I would blog to show you how much my garden has grown. All the rain we are having this year has helped the majority of them to shoot up. The one exception is the basil. It has not grown as much, and a patient informed me it needs a lot of sun.

This has been a bizarre weather year. Its June and we are having more rainy cold days than hot. Although they are saying that is going to change this weekend.....will let you know.

Right I bet finish up and go get my mountain of housework done. Did nothing last night as was exhausted after running and doing the hour pool class where a woman yells at us and puts us through some mighty painful drills. I love it!! Have been loving how much I hurt the next day.

I also did a 7 mile run this morning. Wont be taking Holly on that route again though. Too many dogs to distract her and cause her to yank me off my stride. Also had to jump off the road at one point as someone in a BMW was breaking the law and was texting and driving....just about hit me, and the cheek of it was as he noticed and swerved his car at the last moment, he continued to text. Seriously....is there any text that important!!! Think I might get one of those bracelets with my emergency contact details on though, just in case next time I'm not so lucky!!

OK....really going this time. Enjoyed my wee chat as I slurped down some choc pudding....what?? I deserve it dont I??

Hello everyone. I am backtracking to my birthday on my blog. I had promised photos of the cakes afterall!! If i haven't said it all ready, these cakes were to die for. They were equally delicious and even better when combined on the plate. Triple fudge cake and rapberry cheesecake. Scott did good!!!!!

Yes Braeden does have his face painted like spiderman. Turns out it was his end of year party at day care complete with pony rides, bounces houses, facepainting and cake. He was very proud of the fact that he had 4 different cakes in one day on May 27th!!! And I couldnt put in a pic of Braeden and not one of Cade. This was him pulling his funny face and saying "oh yeah!!" at the cakes.

I got to spend my birthday with Laramie, Victor, Davis and Lincoln. Look at how excited Davis is about the cakes. And the bib on Lincoln.....my favourite bib of all time....thank you Laramie for that.

Well its late. i better get to bed. Just spoke to Kelly on skype. She's saying its cold in oz??!! Well it cant be as bad as the miserable weather mum and dad left behind!! I swear there has been no sunshine since before they were here!!!

Hoping the sun comes out tomorrow...this is unheard of for this time of year

yes life is good when the puppy is worn out and I have a glass of champage in my hand!!

Just a quick couple of photos from our weekend. If you've been on facebook you may realise that the kids were in a parade saturday morning. After that was done, Cade had a football game (they won) then we took off to Scotts Uncle Bobby's cabin for the rest of the weekend as we had monday off for memorial day.

Thats all you are getting from me for now....but I will be back soon to backtrack to give mum her fix seeing my birthday cakes........they were very good
