Well have you all been dying to know what happened this weekend?
With Scott gone on his course, my friend Kambria and husband Chase offered to come over with their kids and watch my boys so Kambria and I could go for a run. Checked the fridge to make sure there was a cold beer for Chase, then headed to the back shop to pull out the lounger cushions so he could relax in comfort. While doing this I heard a crack, and thought to myself, "huh, the neighbour behind must be cutting down a tree", and then came the really loud crack and thats when I saw the tarp covering the pool collapse in and a huge wave of water come from the back of the pool and sweep across the back fence, down through the grass, flooding the patio, running down under the trailer and into the street. My next door neighbour came out. He had heard the crack and watched the large wave sweep through his back yard and carry on into his neighbours yard. "Thanks for watering my grass" he smiled. "at least it didnt happen in the summer while people were in the pool". Although....how much fun would that've been for the boys!!!
So thats it. The pool is gone!! Are we going to replace it? Thats in discussion. We truly only use it june to september so we may well opt to one we take down at the end of the season. Boys dont seem too upset that its gone. But the heat of the summer may bring the cries for a pool. So Scott has hauled it off to the dump, and is now using the wood from under it to make my planter boxes so I can begin growing veggies!!
So thats all you are getting from me tonight. Off to settle the boys down. I'm just in from a run with Kambria. Pushed myself a little too hard and let my internal temp get too high!! Wont do that again!!
So good night all.
Love and hugs

Well I have poured myself a glass of wine and am going to sit here and blog as I need to make sure my wee'est man is truly asleep before going in to perform my "tooth fairy" duty. He lost his second tooth today. Lower middle. And again he lost it while at school. He was delighted, and Cade was jealous "I've always wanted to lose mine at school" were the cries from Cade. And why wouldn't he. They give you a tooth shaped necklace to keep your pride pearly in.
But this isnt my only reason for blogging. I didnt feel Gary's poll gave me the option I wanted to check. I think you need to be more demanding of the staff. They should be watching children of this age closely enough to be able to anticipate and prevent injury, particularly when this child has a history. Diagnosis is not and excuse for these poor behaviours, and it is not the fault of the child! You want them to formulate an action plan to prevent further injury as it is the staff that must be held accountable for this. We had a similar situation with cades day care at this age and a little girl who was causing continuous issues. And it all came to an end when Scott directly told them that these events happening are reflective of a lack of supervision! We loved the day care but they did need a wee bit of a reprimand from my very direct husband in order to get them to step up their game. After all it is what they are getting paid for!!
Well my husband arrived home safely today, so I dont want to be blogging too late into the night, even though I would love to be telling you about the excitement of the weekend!! But its just going to have to wait. Will let you all know about it soon...promise!!!!
Love to all

I'm back!!! Its saturday morning and I just poured my first cup of coffee. I'm having french press as to make a whole pot for just me is a waste (Scott is gone on a course this weekend), and I cant make my latte like Scott does :-(
Thought I would add in a few photos from our holiday. I particularly like the 3 of the boys as it shows what a good time they all had. Thanks mum and Dad. And the one of the boys and I standing with the wind blowing my shirt against my not so hard abs, is us on the Pier at Huntington beach. That is where I was able to score off one of my "to do's" in life. As I walked back from the end of the pier I saw a whale. I wouldnt have believed my eyes but mum saw it too. We both grabbed at our cameras but there was no way we could get the photo. It was moving on.When I moved to california all those years ago I had 3 things I wanted to do. Drive a convertible....check, see a whale.....check, now that just leaves riding up the coastal road on a Harley.
Not much to report here. Just busy. Our weekly routine goes something like this. Drop boys off at school, work while they are in school. Finish and bomb it home to make sure I get there before the school bus or they wont let my kindergartner get off. Feed them. Homework and reading. Feed them again. Take them to, football practice tues thurs friday, gymnastics monday, wednesday. Home. Feed them again. Get them to bed. Housework, laundry......crash!!In there too are Holly walks and my attempts to get a run in. So as much as Dad may have stirred things up with others, I thank you Dad for noticing. I feel validated now :-)
So its saturday morning. Holly is outside pulling twigs off the bush, then the birds try to make there way down to grab those wee bits of twig to take back to their nests. We have 3 in our back garden. Holly then sits mesmorised by the birds.
The sun is shining and the grass is so green from all the rain we have had. But I think thats us moving into our nicer weather now. Cades football game is at 11 this morning, so we will be home about 1 if anyone wants to skype. Then tonight we are heading to a friends for dinner. Tomorrow just will be getting stuff done around the house and spending some time with Holly at the dog park. Then monday back to the same routine. But Scott comes home monday so that will be nice.
Hope alls well with everyone and that you are all having a lovely weekend
Love to all
