Isn't she the most adoreable little thing? Look at those eyes! Oh dont be fooled. She can be a devil dog!! With these beautiful big eyes she will look at you, then grab something she knows she's not meant to have and run full speed for a place her humans cant get easily, ie behind the couch, under the TV or under the boys beds, which are now pushed together, so there is a whole world under there!! Hollys world to be exact. First thing in the morning when she gets her chewie she runs and hides it on the beanbag that is the furthest point under the pushed together single beds!!

"please mum can I have another treat?"

This is what caused us to push the 2 beds together. Best buds just cant be parted, not even at bedtime. What a great flash I have on my camera. Makes it look like I put the boys to bed in the broad daylight! Oh no not I. I still have issues with having to go to bed while it was still light!! I love Oregon where it is never light past 9pm :-)
So thats it. A wee entry for you. Boys are excited about wearing kilts:-) And I do so hope to persuade Scott to be an honory Scotsman for the day. Am chomping at the bit to get the confirmation on the wedding date. To get my flights booked and to start to look for the biggest best hat I can find. Altough I think I would need to buy 2 so the "prodigal sisters" can be matching ;-)
Love to all.

These are the game faces of Braeden and buddy Gatlin!!It was their first basketball game today :-)

The attempts at some dribbling

I think this may have been when their team got a basket

out of order, but was this pre game jitters I see in the face of Braeden? The same child who told Scott and I on the way to the game "I'm going to be the King of Kings out there today"

and towards the end! You can add your own caption here.
They did pretty well, but more importantly it was so much fun to watch. I dont think I've heard Karen laugh so much. There was a little girl who kept running with the ball instead of dribbling who finally listened to the coach who was calling at her to dribble. She interpreted that as standing still bouncing the ball up and down for about 30 secs and then tuck it under her wing and run!
Well I'm keeping it short and sweet even though its been a couple of weeks, as I have a bored puppy creating mayhem right now. Only a few more days before her 3rd shot that allows me to begin walking her. She needs some wearing out!!
Would love to hear via a blog if we are definately set at 30th of october for Gary and Caroles wedding. Looking at flights, the website says only 7 tickets left at a decent price. and thats not cheap so I hate to think what it will be when those are gone!!
would greatly appreciate it. We are all very excited. Boys are asking if they get to wear a kilt.
Love to all

And finally to our New Year. As i had to work until 5pm New Years eve i decided we would have just a quiet New Year, just the 4 of us. Appetisers and champagne/kiddie champagne followed by game night. The picture of the boys shows Cade giving instructions to his brother of how to act out the clue for charades. With Grannie and Granda Stewart now sadly gone, the Lesinas are going to carry the torch for "New Years Eve" charades :-)

and for mums benefit, we had shrimp, puff pastry appetisers( all with differnet fillings ie ricotta and sun dried tomatoes, mushroom and caramelised onion, cheese and roasted garlic and roasted red peppers with cheese....from costco), and artichoke and spinach dip in a sourdough bowl ( I made this. Thanks to Laramie for the recipe that came from her mother in law). Of course there had to be a veggie so we had chopped up cucumbers as well. Look at how focussed Cade was on the shrimp. That huge ring did not last long!!!!
Our house tuesday the 29th when we got a little sprinkling of snow. I feel much better now. Helped me feel a little at home for the holidays. Would like somemore though!! Maybe next week with the next storm coming in
our christmas dinner

pictures of our little guests on New Years day

I am back tracking to xmas day with the photos now. I of course have to include a photo of the desserts (did I spell it right dad?) to show that mum taught me well.

This one was first thing on xmas morning. Braeden had been sick the day before so he was still just a little zonked at this point, but the trampoline and gifts helped him to revive in no time :-)
